The Fadeaway Man is a DC Comics supervillain and a recurring foe to Hawkman. He first appeared in ''Detective Comics'' #479, (September 1978) and was created by Len Wein and Rich Buckler. ==Fictional character biography== While cataloguing the collection of 18th century occultist Cagliostro, art history professor Anton Lamont comes across the ancient occultist's legendary conjure cloak. This garment is supposedly possessed with great mystical power. Lamont quickly deduces the means to operate the cloak and embarks on a criminal career. When Midway Museum curators Carter and Shiera Hall return from a long vacation, they find that Fadeaway Man has taken their places as interim leader and is attempting to loot the museum. In their aliases of Hawkman and Hawkgirl, they defeat him, but he escapes using his conjure-cloak. Months later, Anton resurfaces in Gotham City, where he attempts to auction off a sarcophagus to the highest bidder. He is defeated by Hawkman and Batman, and although captured, takes his cloak with him to prison. Shortly before ''Infinite Crisis'', Lamont joins the Society in ''Villains United'' # 1. In ''Hawkman'' # 37-45, as a member of the Society, he orchestrates a failed plan consisting of assembling some of Hawkman's foes in order to kill the winged hero. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Fadeaway Man」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
